DENVER (CBS4)- The driver who struck four police officers, critically injuring one during a protests of East High School students on Wednesday has been identified.
The driver has been identified as Christopher Booker, 41. He has not been arrested and no charges have been filed.
Police say the investigation is complex and will take time. They are still working to compile interviews from more than 100 witnesses.
The accident report is expected to be released next week.

Adsit was one of four officers injured when a car plowed into them as they escorted high school students who were protesting recent police action.

The students left class at approximately 10 a.m. Wednesday and walked through downtown Denver. They gathered at the Capitol to protest a grand jury’s decision to not indict police officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed unarmed Michael Brown in Ferguson.
